Chest circumference
Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest, ensuring it is snug but not too tight. Stand up straight and avoid puffing out your chest or holding your breath, as this can skew the measurement.
Height
Remove your shoes, socks, and any headwear. Stand with your heels together, back straight, and shoulders relaxed against a wall. Look straight ahead with your chin parallel to the floor. Measure from the floor to the top of your head.
Arm length
Stand straight with your arms relaxed at your sides. Locate the bony tip at the top of your shoulder where the arm begins. Run a flexible tape along the outside of the arm, over the elbow, down to the wrist bone.
Measurements refer to body chest size
| Size | Chest (cm) | Chest (in) |
|---|---|---|
| XS | 86–91 | 34–36 |
| S | 91–96 | 36–38 |
| M | 96–101 | 38–40 |
| L | 101–106 | 40–42 |
| XL | 106–111 | 42–44 |
| XXL | 111–116 | 44–46 |
For fur coats specifically, a slightly oversized fit is generally expected — your actual garment chest measurements will typically be 20–30 cm larger than the body measurement depending on silhouette.
